About Second Nature

Second Nature is the consumer kitchen brand of PWS Distributors Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1909. Its door ranges run from foil and lacquered slabs to real-timber Shakers and in-frame designs, and are sold only through a national network of independent kitchen retailers rather than direct.

About Porter Matt

Porter Matt is the slab door for a modern kitchen that feels calm rather than shiny. It is Second Nature's Porter in 18mm MDF with a soft matt lacquer, and it is better than gloss at hiding fingerprints, which helps in busy family kitchens. Choose from eight stocked colours or 24 to order, and from conventional handles, a true handleless rail or the integrated Outline handle. Bespoke sizes are available. If you go with handles and are replacing old ones, measure the hole centres on your existing doors, and pick a finish that matches your taps. Order a sample, or call 01242 226912.
