Will they fit my IKEA kitchen?

Door sizes

IKEA METOD kitchens use their own sizes: base unit doors are about 797mm high, and doors and drawer fronts are about 3mm smaller than the cabinet, so a 60cm cabinet has a 597mm wide door. Older FAKTUM kitchens used different heights again. Measure your own doors to be sure.

Why change the doors

IKEA’s own range of fronts is limited and changes often. Made to measure doors give you painted-look supermatt and woodgrain finishes and traditional and handleless styles that IKEA doesn’t offer, on the cabinets you already have.

Hinges

IKEA hinges fit a 35mm cup hole. Measure the hinge positions on your old doors and give them to us, and check your hinges line up with a cup centre 22.5mm from the door edge; if not, order the doors undrilled and drill them to suit.

2. Choose and price

   Pick a style and colour, and enter your sizes in the door builder for an instant price.

3. Order

   Pay online, or send the list to us to check first. Doors are usually despatched within 7 working days.

Will Bella doors fit IKEA METOD cabinets?

Yes, when they’re made to the sizes of your IKEA doors. METOD doors are about 797mm high on base units, and Bella doors can be made to that height.

Are Bella doors the same thickness as IKEA doors?

Bella doors are 18mm thick, which works with IKEA’s hinges and drawer fittings.

Can I keep my IKEA drawers?

Yes. Order new drawer fronts to the size of your old ones and fix them to the existing drawer boxes.

Do you drill the hinge holes?

Yes, if you’d like. 35mm hinge cups are drilled with the centre 22.5mm from the edge, at the positions you give us.

Do you deliver?

Yes, across the UK, or collect from our Cheltenham showroom.
