Door Care Guide


Vinyl


If you wish to clean your product, ONLY use 5% soap, 95% water solution and wipe with a damp cloth, ensuring that the cloth is not too wet. After this, dry with a soft clean cloth and dust with a soft cloth only.
It is important NOT to use wax-furniture polish, aggressive cleaners, bleach or other hypochlorate (chlorine) based cleaners, multipurpose-cleaners, dilutes, acetone, alcohol, solvent or similar products on the door as this will damage the surface.
Splashes made by cooking should be wiped immediately using a damp cloth.
If you have doors that are supplied with a protective film on the face, it is essential to not expose these to direct sunlight. All films should be removed as soon as possible.
If you have a newly plastered room, this should be left to environmental stabilise before adding storage and installing doors.

Timber


It is important NOT to use abrasive or aggressive cleaners, bleach or other hypochlorate (chlorine) based cleaners, multipurpose-cleaners, dilutes, acetone, alcohol, solvent or similar products on the door as this will damage the surface of the timber.
We advise using a damp and not too wet cloth to remove marks such as fingerprints and other marks and then to follow with a clean and dry soft cloth. Cooking splashes should be wiped immediately after with a damp cloth

If you have a newly plastered room, this should be left to environmentaly stabilise before adding storage and installing doors.

Foil

We advise you to note that Broadoak Sanded and Eden Sanded are unfinished therefore care of these doors will depend on the type of finish applied, eg paint, stain, wax etc., and it would be advisable to contact us or your supplier of surfacing finish for care guidance.
