Matching Colours and Finishes

Kitchen Stori colour matching is generally reliable when ordering replacement doors in the same range, but there are a few things worth knowing. Paint technology and batch variation can mean subtle differences between doors produced months or years apart - this is a characteristic of all painted kitchen doors, not specific to Kitchen Stori.

To minimise visible variation, we recommend ordering all the doors you need in a single order rather than replacing them one at a time. If only one or two doors need replacing and an exact match is critical, it may be worth ordering a sample first.

Sizing Your Replacement Doors

Kitchen Stori doors follow standard UK sizing conventions. Measure each door you need to replace in millimetres - height first, then width - and list the quantity needed at each size. Don't forget drawer fronts, which are often a different width-to-height ratio than the doors themselves.

For integrated appliance doors such as fridge or dishwasher panels, note these separately as they are often thicker or use different mounting hardware than standard doors.

True Handleless Kitchens

If you have a true handleless Kitchen Stori kitchen - one that uses a recessed rail profile rather than a separate handle - it is important to order the correct door type. True handleless doors are profiled differently to standard doors and are not interchangeable. We stock the matching rail profiles alongside the doors, so if you need to replace a section of a true handleless kitchen we can supply both components together.
